Players Are Hacking Fallout 4's Pip-Boy App To Unlock More Games

Bethesda launched the official Fallout 4 companion app today, and it’s all yono rummy pretty slick! Unfortunately, there’s not much you can actually DO with the app yet…unless of course you happen to mess with the game’s files. The app, which lets you connect to Fallout 4, can only be run in demo mode right now. Demo mode gives you access to a few things, like a fake character’s stats, inventory, and map data. You can also play games with the app—but the only one available right now is “Atomic Command,” Fallout 4’s take on Missile Command where you must stop atomic bombs from destroying key American cities. Here’s what that all yono rummy looks like, courtesy of Casey Likes Games: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHShKylydkQ What tech-savvy players have discovered, however, is that tweaking the game’s files also unlocks other games within the app. Here’s Robert Petersen, showcasing a game called “Red Menace.” It’s a y1 games latest riff on Donkey Kong, only betdog the player has to save Vault Girl from a communist (of course). The communist throws atomic bombs y1 games latest at you instead of barrels (naturally):cnx.cmd.push(function(){cnx({"playerId":"e3616d04-4972-4839-a63a-c6975e2e9731","settings":{"advertising":{"macros":{"AD_UNIT":"/23178111854/od.kotaku.com/article","CHILD_UNIT":"article","POST_ID":"1740773955","POST_TYPE":"post","CHANNEL":"uncategorized","SECTION":"","SUBSECTION":"","CATEGORIES":"uncategorized","TAGS":"","NOP":"0"},"timeBeforeFirstAd":0}}}).render("cnx-player-main")}); It’s not a straight-clone, curiously enough. On the second level, for example, Vault Boy has to walk against a conveyer belt. Eventually, the player even gains a Power Armor, which allows betdog Vault Boy to tank atomic bombs. Heh. Here are a few more games, showcased by TroyIrving. They include: Zeta Invaders (which takes cues from Space Invaders, obviously), Pipfall, a game where you must collect bobbleheads before time runs out, and an RPG called Grognak, which is actually the most impressive game on the Pip Boy app. Behold: You can check out the Pip Boy app for iOS here, and forAndroid here.

The variety of games is excellent, including table games like blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, in addition to slots. This keeps the platform interesting and allows me to switch games depending on my mood. The progressive jackpots are thrilling, and it's exciting to watch the jackpot amounts grow as more players spin the reels. I hope they add even more jackpot slots because it adds a lot of excitement to the gameplay. Customer support has been outstanding whenever I had any issues. They respond quickly and professionally, ensuring that any concerns with deposits, withdrawals, or gameplay are addressed immediately, which makes me trust the platform more.
